Symptom & Solution:
Fibromyalgia means pain in the muscles, ligaments, and tendons – the soft fibrous tissues in the body. Most patients with fibromyalgia say that they ache all over. Their muscles may feel like they were pulled or overworked. Sometimes fibromyalgia symptoms include muscle twitches and burning sensations. More women than men are afflicted with fibromyalgia, and it shows up in people of all ages. A conservative estimate of its prevalence is 2% of the general population, but it may be as high as 3-5%.

KAPALBHANTI (SNEEZING)
Kapalbhanti is very similar to sneezing. In other words sneezing is called kapalbhanti. The benefits of sneezing and kapalbhanti are the same .Observing that man has no regular time for sneezing that is why the yogis have chosen the practice of kapalbhanti for purification of the body and mind. By the regular practice of this pranayam we can get protection from many undesired diseases .A person having no diseases should also practice this pranayam to acquire additional strength.
TECHNIQUE: sit straight in the vajrasana or on the chair. Now start practicing kapalbhanti by sneezing. The breath is taken out with the nose with sound (like sneezing) and a jerk. The stomach should be drawn in when exhaling with jerkin, take care to keep mouth close now. Let the breath come inside into the stomach steadily and effortlessly.
Complete 12 cycle’s .After that it is compulsory to take rest. Then you may do another cycle.
First-timers should practice kapalbhanti only up to 24 cycles. After 15 days, it can be increased upto 48 cycles. In case of desiring to increase kapalbhanti further, we should consult any yogic guru. In case we fail to understand the technique of performing kapalbhanti pranayam, it is advised to practice sneezing.

CHECKPOINT: avoid doing this exercise if you have high blood pressure or any severe brain related problems.
EFFECT: cleansing of the hardware or brain, lungs and whole body.
TARGET POINT: Pancreas stomach muscles, lower abdomen.
MOOL BANDHA (perineum):
Mool bandh is the contraction of certain muscles in the pelvic floor. In the female it contracts uterus and rectum or intestinal area. And in men it contracts anus and testes. Mool bandh is effective exercise for improving the dullness of organs (bladder and intestinal). It is taken from horse.
TECHNIQUE: Sit straight in any comfortable meditative pose or on the chair, keep the palm of the hands on the knees, eyes closed, now contract muscles of the pelvic region and hold the contraction, do not hold the breath. Repeat the exercises 10 times with maximum contraction and total relaxation.
It can also be done by holding breath inside or outside but it should be only done under the supervision of an expert guru.
CHECKPOINT: Should not be done in case of bleeding in the rectum.
FOCUS: Relieves constipation, piles, depression. Coordination between brain and abdominal area Improves. It also controls sexual disorders and help to relieve sexual frustration, suppression of sexual energy and feeling of sexual guilt.
Anulom-vilom (alternate nostril breathing)
“by proper practice of pranayama etc, all diseases (mental or physical) are eradicated. through improper practice all diseases can arise.”
yogi swatmaram states that alternate nostril breathing purifies the nadis (whole nervous system) within three month.
Technique: sit in any comfortable meditative pose or on the chair, close the right nostril and inhale slowly, steadily and deeply through the left nostril, after full inhalation hold it for a while and now close the left nostril and exhale slowly steadily through the right nostril. slowly inhale again through the right nostril and exhale from the left. this is one round .lets do this for 5 to 10 minutes with closed eyes.
checkpoint: while practicing, be sure that there should be no strain on the face and the head and body do not tilt in any direction. if you have high blood pressure or heart trouble, then avoid holding breath exercises.
Effect: it helps to reduce the level of stress, frustrations, anxiety and hypertension.
UJJAI PRANAYAM:
Technique:
Sit in any comfortable and meditative pose with spine erect. Now close eyes and start with deep breathing, after some time focus consciousness on throat. Fold the tongue back and touch tip on palate and start breathing from throat. You can take breath from mouth but if it is possible then take breath from nostril. But the most important thing is breathe from throat. During this pranayam produce sound like snoring. The sound of breath should not be very loud. In the beginning Inhale should with effort and exhale should be without effort. But after a month both Inhalation and exhalation should be with effort. Do practice it for 20 to 30 minutes. After completing ujjai start doing Anulom-vilom pranayam for 10 minute. While breath in chest should be out with effort and breathe out chest in without effort.
Best Time: One who wants to give up alprax should do this pranayam in the night before sleeping and in the morning empty stomach.
Precaution:
- Avoid if having severe cold or have kapha dominated nature. In this situation you must fallow right nostril breathing with chest expansion. Do right to right nostril breathing for 20 minute and left to left breathing for 10 minute before going to sleep in the night.
- If anybody suffering with high blood pressure then addicted people should avoid from right nostril breathing more. In this situation they need to fallow guru’s advice.
- This pranayam can be practiced in any posture, sitting, standing or lying etc.
Result: within weak addicted patient will get relief. After a month they shall give up addiction. MEDITATION FOR FIBROMYLGIA
Every people have their own personal experience with this incurable disease. It is not a really disease. No one knows what causes fibromyalgia.
