SOLAR CHAKRA; sense of sight  
 


Solar or Manipur chakra is located at the navel center. Its shape is triangle with upward apex. Its element is fire, color is red and sound ‘ram’. It governs the sense of sight. This (Navel) is the area which defines “self-esteem”. But when it is not in its own place then level of energy comes down. It means the solar chakra is not open.  Anyone experiencing dysfunction of the navel chakra is having difficulty for obtaining or maintaining his/her own personal power.

Physical Dysfunction;
Stomach ulcer, Intestinal tumor, diabetes, pancreatic, Indigestion, anorexia/bulimia, hepatitis, cirrhosis, adrenal imbalances, arthritis, and colon diseases
Mental and Emotional Issues - self esteem, fear of rejection, oversensitivity to criticism, self-image fears, fears of our secrets being found out, indecisiveness.
Area of Body Governed - upper abdomen, umbilicus to rib cage, liver, gallbladder, middle spine, spleen, kidney, adrenals, small intestines, stomach.
Actually it (Solar chakra) is purely metabolic and emotional center. If functioning of this, proper is, then our whole personality become like Sun which is the base of all satellite.
I just write down here some tips for increasing tremendous solar energy in our body.
Ardh Shalabh Asana
Lie down on the front, place your both hand each side on the surface. Now raise left leg little bit till feeling of pulse around the navel. Hold it for while. Repeat it with another leg 10 times.

Purna Shalabh Asana

This is a full version of Shalabh Asana which must be done after practice of Ardh Shalabh.  Raise both leg little bit, and hold it for while. Whole pressure comes on lower abdomen and lower back.  

Nauka Asana

Lie down on the front, interlock both fingers behind the back (near buttock) and raise both sides (upper and lower) of the body during exhale. Hold it for while and thereafter come back in original pose. Do this for 5 to 7 times.

Dhanur Asana (Bow Pose)

Lie down on your stomach on the flat floor. Let your body relax and take 2 or 3 deep breaths. Now fold both legs at the knee and taking both hands to the back of leg, clutch your ankle joints; now raise upper and lower part of the body while exhaling. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Now with inhaling come back to the normal position.

Agnisar Pranayam  
This pranayam gives momentum to fire in the stomach. The fire is present inside the body. It produces heat in the minute and big parts and makes the body and mind active and strong
Sit in any comfortable meditative pose at distraction free and ventilated area with closed eyes.  Spine should be straight.  Exhale breath outside completely and let hold the breath outside. Push up shoulders with the help of both hands which palms are placed on thigh.  Now contract stomach muscles in and expand it out as fast as you can do. In one cycle, stomach muscles should be in and out as possible as can be increased, at least 10 to 15 times. Increase it slowly not fast. If feel headache or breathlessness during exercise, take rest for a while.
